Survival mechanics in MMOs?

I have reached peak Space America in Strellaris.
 
I funded a proxy war to weaken two of my closest rivals.

Only thing I can think of is there’s the Hardcore Ironman mode in old school Runescape. It’s not like you have to eat to survive or anything but if you did you lose your account and have to start over.

Nothing extensive, just, eat something once in a while.

Fought my first non-GL G-rank Kushala Daora, plus the Brute Tigex event a few times. Kushala Daora was just annoying and draining.

Battle for neighborville is finally here.
 
Overwhelming the new amount of stuff to do.

It’s good to play a survival horror game again.

Games are too big nowadays (file size).

Some fun Monster Hunter trivia: Before Generations, you couldn’t hold the button to keep on carving. Instead, you had to press it again in order to carve it more, with crouching making the animation slightly faster so you can get more carves in a shorter amount of time. And before 3, there wasn’t an icon above your head telling you that you can carve or gather, meaning that for gathering spots, you had to know in advance (the mining and bug spots are set and are part of the environment, making the net/pickaxe being useable the only indication that it’s a gathering spot).

So, I’m going to do Adventure Mode again, only this time I will be playing as the Nitro Squad (Tawna, Isabella, Megumi, Ami, and Liz) and be restricted to them.
 
Starting off at the 1st Hub area, I’m play as Isabella.

So I have completed the first hub area as Isabella, now I’m doing the second hub area as Liz.

I was thinking I would have to wait until a holiday sale to pick up Total War: Warhammer II and the two DLCs I want, but they’re on sale on Steam this weekend. Good deal.

Now I’m doing the third hub area as Ami.

So I have completed the fourth hub as Megumi, now I will race against Oxide as Tawna.

Not sure if this deserves to be in the politics or video game thread more so I’ll just cross-post it in both.
