Video Game General 2: Definitive/Remastered Edition

I have Steam now. I’m looking for cheap classics that’ll run on a laptop that probably isn’t exactly meant for gaming.

I’m eyeing the original Deus Ex..and Quake. I just want something old.

Half Life.

For some reason, I have a blue star with the 3* MR quest, yet I completed every quest and captured every monster, so I did all the special arena quests. This is pissing me off.

DNF time!!

Sony may have made the PS3 overpriced at launch, but at least back then they had at least slightly better customer support and transparency as well as took backwards compatibility more seriously (most phat PS3s and the early batches of slim units are backwards compatible with not only many PS1 games, but also PS2 games to varying degrees).

I need names for my bases in XCOM Apocalypse. In the original I named my bases after various gods from different mythos of the land (Gaea, Terra, Joro, etc), and in Terror from the Deep I named my underwater bases after various water gods (Neptune, Poseiden, Suijin, etc). But I don’t know what theme to make for Apocalypse.
 
Unlike the other games the entire setting is restricted to a single megacity, with my various bases is me buying out various warehouses or apartments. And I’m fighting interdimensional ayys this time. I’m not sure what theme to use for that.

That could work. But I’m trying to only use one god per mythos per base. So I could maybe get Azathoth for one base alone.
 
On the other hand all the ayys this time around are being controlled by a microbe bacteria hivemind. So maybe I could implement a vaccine name theme…

Try mythos regarding craft like Hephaestus, Soma and Svartalfheim.

Outlast is such a scary yet fun game to play!

Both actually, there is only one SH I never played and that was The Room, but I played every Dead Space.

I never played any of them other than the first three, Homecoming and Frozen Memories, and none of the Dead Space game (I have seen LPs of most of the ones I haven’t played, though).

I started Dead Space a couple years ago but got too busy to finish it.
