I honestly think All Star Racing Transformed is more interesting. I wish they hadn’t dropped that for a more standard racer.

Three… Counting the still existing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

So I bought Bloodstained RotN, and it’s amazing. It’s a true successor to the 2-D Castlevania series and improves and adds in every way to Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow, it’s an easy 10/10 for anyone with a shred of fondness for those games. Also it’s only 39.99$ USD, I would’ve easily paid 60$ for this as is without the promise of tonnes of free updates including campaign and new characters ect.
 
The only slight however is the game isn’t finished. There’s bits text that doesn’t load in correctly, times were graphics in a room or on your character model don’t load properly, times were the frame rate tanks for a handful of seconds at a time, and crashes. Most these issues seem to happen a only when you play for a considerable amount of time in one setting, so I’m think it’s due to too much of the map being loaded at one time, or maybe it’s just something unique to the Xbox Version.

A couple of friends told me the melee combat is weak and the magic is super OP. I’m planning to get it on GoG next week most likely.

I thought the same in the early to mid game, I think mostly thanks to magic also being much safer to use than melee, but now that I’m in the final acts of my first play through Melee has caught back up and is really strong, especially with (early mechanic spoilers)special techniques for each weapon.
 
Certain spells are really powerful early on and can be acquired and maxed out relatively easy compared to weapons, but now I’m near the end of the first playthough and there are still melee weapons several tiers above the ones I’m using which already feel really strong.

I think what Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled (and Mario 8 Deluxe) did that Team Sonic Racing is at least lacking is character variety.
