On one angle. Give them a break, it’s beautiful for an indie game. Most indie games don’t even see the light of day.  
But yeah, it seems the more “realistic” anyone tries to make a game. The more prone the games are to shenanigans like this.

Siiiigh. I was gonna get Breath of the Wild. But everyone keeps telling me the bosses and the endgame of it suck.

To be perfectly blunt, I’m always a bit leery of any game that uses “realistic” as a descriptor. Because mechanics that are “realistic” do not necessarily correlate to mechanics that are “intuitive,” “engaging,” or “fun.”

Get it anyway. The rest of the game is awesome enough that the end bosses don’t make the other 90% of it less fun.

I learned you can plunge Capra Demon.
 
I like how there’s more than one way to beat the bosses in Dark Souls.
