I know I’ve said this many times in the past, but at least when Nintendo messes up, it’s more out of cluelessness than malice, like a bumbling sitcom dad. You can almost taste the contempt EA has for gamers.

What if the Gwyn fight in DS1 is easy to convey the fact that Gwyn is old and way past his prime?

The Gwyn that CU fought is just a tired old man instead of the powerful god he used to be.

I never bothered playing simulation games.

It was done so that any play style could beat him, unaware that they accidentally trivialized him with parries. He’s also the only DS1 boss that can be parried, making the decision a bit baffling.

Goat Simulator looks like one of those games that’s fun for a little while, but the novelty quickly wears off.
