The new version of Brutal Doom is friggen addicting. It’s just a cathartic mod to play.

Y’know, I don’t get why critics are so hard on the retro official 1up arcade cabinets. Sure they’re kinda small, but the size allows you to sit down on a stool/chair to play, and they have risers for them. I tried out the Galaga, Street Fighter 2, and Rampage machines in my local Walmart. and they work great, and frankly the screen quality is much better then the original arcade cabinets. The cabinets are nicely designed too.
 
That said, looking forward to the TMNT one.

Miyazaki said Elden Ring will be heavily based on Dark Souls.

Pokemon is literally the same game released over and over with new Pokemon added and a different map.

The Pokemon games aren’t even bad per say, but I feel like the only reason they get a free pass on this particular front is because “muh Nintendo”

More so that it’s a franchise build on simplicity (or as simple/easy as you want it to be) and nostalgia/memories.

So, um, if I wanted make my own game, what engine would be ideal for doing so?

New BD update have new object testing area. Probably better one.  
Also it have nuke laucher.

Just discovered someone made a TIHYDP video for the Game Grumps’ playthrough of Spongebob Squarepants BFBB a few weeks ago.

I guess that really depends on the type of game you want to make.
 
Though I’ve seen people do some really neat stuff with the different RPGMaker software out there. So you could try looking into that first.

I haven’t found one yet but I did get all the ones from the Wolfenstein levels. Also the blood and gore look miles better now.

Basically, I’m interested in creating a isometric RPG in the same vein as Baulder’s Gate or Planescape: Torment.
 
I’m considering trying RPG maker but I’m not dead set just yet.
 
I’d like the game to be very lore-heavy, and have lot’s of player freedom. You can even choose who to side with in the main quest.
