If I may amend my remark, I think AJ would also be miscast as Christine. Anyone described by another character as an ingenue would likely be a role ill-suited for a tough, earthy country gal like her. Someone meeker would probably be better, like Fluttershy or, again, Coco. Perhaps Fluttershy especially in this case, as other ponies in the show have acknowledged that she has a wonderful singing voice.
