You know, I’ve considered writing my own FoE fic but thinking about where I want it to go it might doom itself to that path for some reason.
Unless I can tie it back in to things. I got more than enough to do that because #JustALazyAsshole
As much as I love the story, yes, it kinda lost it´s way. It was still a damn good story, but it was not really FoE anymore. Which is actually a problem most FoE side fics have, to be honest.
I mean look at Murky, with it suddenly having things like afterlife in it and resurrection etc. >.>

I personally stopped reading about the time Glory’s mother appeared and was revealed to be some cyborg monster.
Not out of dissatisfaction with the story but simply because I stopped having time to read. And then I heard of everything that was going on after and I decided that perhaps it was a good thing I didn’t keep going.
From what I heard there were many things supposed to be very different, but this is not a place to discuss it.

That is honestly the shortest possible version. Somber went extremely “what a twist” with her, only for it all to lead… basically nowhere.
Damn, that’s how she died? I avoided the fic like the plague after I took a break from reading it.

The description is in Russian, but the Google translation came out fairly intelligible. Here it is with some minor adjustments:

And, yes, I too would love to get hold of a deck like this (plus a set of the Russian FoE books with the gorgeous illustrations done by the same person).
