Yes, my headcanon is that once Spike starts growing too big to keep living safely among ponies (unable to go into houses, or move around without causing damage) instead of just having to move away, Clelestia or Twilight will teach him a spell so he can transform into a Pony for convenience, able to switch back and forth among both.
