I can see that dark magic(pretty sure it was stated that NMM’s magic is considered to be dark magic) is pretty much poison to them.

Good point. I just hope DHX doesn’t overblow 3D though if they use it in later seasons…
I like the 3D effect; it reinforces just how creepy and supernaturally wrong they are, like a visual indicator that they really don’t belong in the world.
Timberwolves could be spirits using the wood to form a body. If that’s true then the body being destroyed doesn’t hurt them.
We may never know.
That raises the question of whether they can control the process. Heck, I’m not sure if timberwolves are even organisms in the conventional sense of the term.
Or Nightmare’s magic is potent enough to actually permanently ‘kill’ them and keep them from regenerating. That’s my preferred version, anyway.
Either way, I lived thus scene. I adore seeing bad guys obliterate weaker bad guys with ease.
Well, it wouldn’t have been smart to regenerate while they were still there. It’s possible it could’ve off-screen.
