I’m never going to look at an orange pencil the same way again…

Consider this:  
The Orange Pencil draws Adagio. That way, it serves its function for existing (because why else would you have an Orange Pencil? To draw oranges? Get real.)  
Adagio wishes to be drawn, thus fulfilling her desire for adoration and worship. To this end, the Orange Pencil is an invaluable servant to her will.  
But the Orange Pencil alone, for as powerful as it is, has no mind of its own. It merely does as the will that controls it commands.  
So is it Adagio that wills the Pencil? Well, no, it can’t be. Because she isn’t real. At least, not in this dimension. At the very least, she has no real influence on this realm besides the brief showcases of her native realm on this thing called “television”. No, I think it’s someone else. The one who started the Orange Pencil’s reign in the first place. The one who convinced others to draw art of that Orange Pencil–and by extension, Adagio. It’s not Adagio, the subject of worship–rather, it’s the worshipper. BlazingDazzlingDusk.  
Much as the mad cultists in an HP Lovecraft story wish to awaken a Great Old One, regardless of the consequences, so does BlazingDazzlingDusk start this Orange Pencil meme, as part of a needlessly elaborate ritual to open a doorway betwixt the two worlds: our world…and the world where she resides. She and her two minions. Enough drawings are done, enough wishing is done that they were real…and those thoughts might one day have very real power. And there’s no telling what will happen if that time comes.

Either that or I’m bored and concocted this elaborate backstory to rationalize the Orange Pencil in a way that would make for an interesting story, because I’m bored and that’s that.
