Luna trying to connect with ponies but she afraid that they still could be afraid of her, plus she afraid that she will repeat her mistakes.
And Twilight, the fresh princess, who afraid that she is not worthy of her new title (Larson in his interview brought the cut scene, where Twi talking with Tia about this thing. She asked, was that a good idea to make her princess of friendship if she killed friendship in her old friend (Moondancer)) and she is soo afraid of letting her friends down.
So, they are practically canon.

2 people or ponies in this case whom share same or similar life’s ambitions are naturally more compatible than others… it doesnt take rocket science to figure that out.

You read too many fanfics. The one thing we know, that Soarin likes pies. And that is pretty much it.
With this logic most ships are almost canon.
would be SO AWESOME! also to all the haters out there….which theres many. of all the ‘‘fannon’’ ships out there SoarinDash would be the most likely to happen statistically speaking. especially considering there appearances together and all the likes and interests they share in common.
i’m not saying you gotta like it but you gotta give credit where credits due.
