Starlight’s only connection with Spike is Spike was the first person that wasn’t Twilight who actually genuinely cared about her and they got really close throughout the series. Though I’d consider them more as friends than a genuine ship.

Rarity is his first crush, Sweetie Belle is nearest his age, Ember is his own species, and I do not know what Starlight has at all. I already explained what makes Rare something he needs to get by. Sweetie or Ember would be best, but which one?

Different strokes for different folks. I’ve never understood him actually being paired up with Rarity, since I’ve always viewed his affections toward her as being nothing more than puppy love.

I think artwork was drawn way before Smolder was introduced.
Man what I wouldn’t give for an update of this because not just Smolder but Gabby has been shown hanging out with Spike as well.

The art itself looks fantastic, but personally, I think Smolder should be in Starlight’s spot

I guess bringing up Starlight’s past is playful banter. But then she teased he had dragon breath first.

The best thing about this is Cadance.

Hilarious in hindsight? He didn’t even need to be aged up for females to fight over him. We even got a “sharing is caring” ending lol.

for example
