All I’m seeing here is that Jim is willing to listen to and even discuss his work with fans, even hostile ones, while Whitley immediately shuts down anything that isn’t praise. There’s a middle ground; Jim should know when to tell someone is an ass or insane, and Whitley needs to stop believing he’s God’s gift to social progress accosted only by vile troglodytes a trump voters.
