Thing is the demand is artificial. Industrial, “fake” diamonds have been around for some time, and the other uses are cosmetic. What other uses does a diamond have?

Diamonds are not expensive de to their rarity, but due to their demand; being one of the most useful substances for industry and many sectors of technology and also the most looked up on jewerly.

It’s not that they’re rare it’s that ones good enough to USE are rare.

Anyways, I think we humans win, if only because of numbers. We’ve got seven thousand million people. I don’t think Equestria, nor their planet, has that much population.
 
Also, just a thing, the price of diamonds is artificially inflated. There is much more diamond than what we are led to believe. It may seem like a “conspiracy theory concoted by a nutcase”, but it doesn’t seem that farfetched to me.

Out of curiosity, how big would the Egg Carrier and Subspace Gunship (Super Smash Bros. Brawl) be? from what I’ve read, the Egg Carrier is 789m long, but I don’t know which of the two versions it applies to. (For reference Sonic is about 1m tall, give or take)

Side with nukes always wins, if they’re willing to use them. You would never use them to invade a place, since that would make it pointless since then you wouldn’t want it, anyways, since it would be terribly radioactive.
 
And no, we wouldn’t want their gems, because that would crash our blood diamond economies :P
 
So it’s more like, “they’d better not try to invade us.”
 
Dunno how a campaign might go. Our offensive would be brutally effective, but wendigo winters might do us in. Except for the Russians. They’d just laugh. And then freeze to death as wendigo winter intensifies to unearthly temperatures?
