Some people just don’t understand about the math. just focusing in the eyes not just in the legs and head and other body part. may be i am wrong in the eyes that aren’t really scale up because RD eyes aren’t fully open so it’s seems it’s smaller. or maybe not.because it’s hard to really scaling it up.

Aesthetically RD looks slightly oversized in this. Cartoon ponies, yes, but to me her head looks slightly oversized and her body looks a little bulky. Perhaps the vectors simply aren’t conducive to a perfect comparison but it looks a little strange. Then again, the blooper real itself demonstrates that pony heads are rather large when placed beside human bodies - RD’s looks to be around the size of the human RD’s torso. It does make sense, as they’re easier for humans to ride that way, but it must seem very peculiar to the humans.
 
Still, there’s something about this size comparison that I find especially charming. Has the feel of a giant plushie or something. It’s… conflicting. Anyways this honestly doesn’t seem that different from the comparisons that put RD’s head at waist level, which I think look less conspicuous but also feel less… correct, if that makes any sense? It’s harder to imagine the human characters in EqG actually riding those ponies, and at best that’s kind of a shame. Both guesses are in the same ballpark, though.
 
Of course, I’m only talking aesthetics, because I can’t be bothered to actually understand the math. Aesthetic preferences will differ, but I do think they’re more important than mathematical accuracy regarding a cartoon. Then again, I assume you did this for fun, so whatever.
 
My real takeaway is just that I want to see more fanart of this scene and the scale shown in it.
 
Also, slightly off-topic, but can people stop comparing these cartoon humans and ponies to real humans and ponies? Of course they look different. This is a stylized cartoon.

On the top, the arm is slightly bigger than pony-ear. On the bottom, the arm is slightly smaller than pony-ear.
 
Which gives you another point of comparison that gives you the answer you like, but doesn’t necessarily make it right until you can show not only why it’s right, but why the other one is wrong. Arguing that you don’t like the result, or the result “doesn’t make sense” (without sufficient qualification) is not an objective way to discard a result.

And yeah, it’s all about how you weigh the measurement types. I discarded the 20 Carat gem one because it was so far off. This one is way stronger, though, so I can’t disregard it so readily, but it’s still not bulletproof.
 
Honestly, I’m thinking they’re more along 98 cm again, and glad to do so with good backing.

Hell, it’s not even just the eyes. Compare the size of EQG Dash’s forearms to pony Dash’s head in the DXH blooper, and then do the same comparison in the bottom picture.
 
The size difference is readily apparent.

The eyes are the first thing anyone should look at when trying to make comparisons. The Pony RD head in the bottom is ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE compared to the human Dash.
 
The argument that “It’s because different artist renders, not everything to scale” is dumb, because most of the people doing vectors do them from lower res official pictures. The error margin shouldn’t be anywhere near big enough to result in that bobble head pony Dash.
 
And scaling down pony Dash to correct the error gives you exactly the same height difference as in all the other pony height comparisons.
 
If you have four indpendent measurements, using various methods, that give you all aproximately the same EGQ human to pony size ratio, and then a fifth that gives you a bigger pony at the expense of the pony becoming a bobble head, then MAYBE you actually fubbed something in the measurements.
 
I’m not trying to be a dick here. I’m just poiting out an evident scale issue. Pony Rainbow Dash’s head, using this method, comes out oversized.

Seriously you just focusing the eyes look at the legs of pony dash and the head pony dash and the helmet of human dash the leg of your comparison is about 25-35 percent shorter than it should be and the same thing can be said to the pony head. Plus Cirrus just grab a random art from random artist “Everything Aren’t Scale Up”.

You seriously don’t see how massive Pony Dash eyes become using your measurements?
 
The Pony Dash in DHX’s clip has big eyes compared to Human Dash, but not nearly to the same degree as in the bottom comparison.
 
The pony in the comparison is oversized.

This should be better, if the scene from blooper shows both characters perfectly perpendicularly to camera.

Goat usually have 100 cm height from hoof to head and that can make fluttershy have height between 130-160 cm.

I mean, it’s fine to have headcanons different from this. As many have said, it was a bloopers reel, only kinda-canon. Plus, sizes are sometimes inconsistent even in canon. Cartoons are notorious for this.
 
But, using the blooper reel, this is the size that clip gives, end of story. All those “eyeing it” measurements don’t use the same level of precision and rigor I used here, so I still favor this one, even though I personally like smaller ponies, better.
 
At the end of the day:
 
We have this blooper reel, it gives 117 cm.
 
We have 4 other sources, they all converge around 98 cm.
 

 
And we have this from a song:
 

 
Which also converges around the 98 cm mark mentioned above.
 
Everything else (all the arguments, logic, etc.) are mere appendages to this data.
 
5 sources, 2 of which are very strong (Cheese literally on a measuring bar, EQG doorframes) and one of which is pretty strong (8’ Candy Cane) all converge on 98 cm.
 
But this clip is about as close to “proof” as we could ever ask for, and it says 117 cm, though this is somewhat disputed by other sources, I remain in favor of this point being 117 cm until someone else can demonstrate it with something more solid than “eyeing it,” since the helmet does indeed make things very difficult (in fact, this is the reason I chose to use this odd way of getting their sizes in OP. But I’m almost wondering if the animators didn’t scale Rainbow’s eyes or something to fit with the helmet, given how the disagreement goes vs. how extremely well every other source converges).
 
At the end of the day, though, we’re arguing how big fictional cartoon my little ponies are that only exist in a universe where humans don’t (as of g4, at least). But I had a lot of fun doing analysis, making data, analyzing data, and running numbers. It’s fun to be creative and technical to try to find answers to questions, and maybe I can highlight a little bit how creative and clever science can be, even though people typically think of “art” when you say “creativity.” :P

Also i am not quite agree of the comparison that Cirrus just give, they are smaller than one of the smallest pony breed Shetland Pony, which mean there is a lot of pony out there bigger than Shetland pony.

Whatever you wanted to said, your comparison make Pony RD legs significantly shorter plus rd head is a lot smaller not just the helmet, keep in mind is just the pony and eg arts from random artist and everything aren’t scale up. also it’s using a lot of math, those comparison you just agree aren’t and make me doubt it even more, Like Cirrus said in his comments earlier in this comment section about perspective.

Yes and most of ponies are smaller than a horse and a miniature horse is smaller than a pony. I mean like chimpanzees for ponies while monkeys for miniature horse.

Their name doesn’t signify what they are. Ponies also grow up into adult horses, but they’re all called “ponies” even when they’re adults. They’re also about as similar to real horses as humans are similar to chimpanzees.
