I’ve seen so many Overwatch/MLP crossovers, and yet all of them disappoint me. YOU HEAR THAT BRONIES? YOU DISAPPOINT ME! I AM DISAPPOINT!
But don’t worry, I forgive you.

Anyway, I’m not super into this game, but I do know a few things so I decided to give my two cents on a good crossover idea, and here we go! Bare in mind I’m working on limited information.
Twilight Sparkle - Symmetra
Both were child prodigies, both can be a bit obsessive compulsive, and both love order. Doesn’t hurt that Symmetra’s work often involves the creation of barriers, defensive strategy, and conjuring turrets. Symmetra also seems the most mage-like of the crew, so I decided this fit best for Twilight.
Rainbow Dash - Soldier 76
I don’t know, something about the way Soldier 76 carries himself just seems to fit Dash. Very tough, brazen, and kind of mercenary.
Applejack - McCree
I imagine you guys didn’t need me to make this connection. He’s basically a gunslinger cowboy from an old western film, so I felt ‘why not?’ Also considered Reinhardt, but decided against it.
Rarity - Widowmaker
Graceful, precise, deadly, Widowmaker is almost like what you get when you combine the Sniper and the Spy from Team Fortress 2 into one character. She just has that air of deadliness fitting for her theme of spiders, and I felt that fit Rarity just right.
Pinkie Pie - D.Va
Giant pink mech and the ability to make it explode? I don’t know, this just seemed right for Pinkie Pie for some reason, though I admit I say this partially out of a lack of a better idea.
Fluttershy - Bastion
Bronies have told me I should focus more on Fluttershy’s kindness in the crossovers, and I decided this time I’ll give them what they want - Fluttershy as the single most peaceful character in Overwatch (incidentally, it isn’t the healer). Actually very proud of how Flutterbastion turned out!

Here’s my first rough attempt, including options for each role:
Applejack - McCree (noble, normal cowboy), Brigitte (family-focused bruiser support), or Reinhardt (juggernaut).
Fluttershy - Bastion (friend to all animals), Mercy (wholesome healer), or Orisa (mildy introverted team mom).
Pinkie Pie - Junkrat (agent of chaos), Lucio (agent of parties), or Wrecking Ball (speedy, bruiser-y agent of chaos).
Rainbow Dash - Tracer (speedy, though could be a flier like Pharah), Lucio (speedy passionate bruiser.), or D.Va (competitive flier).
Rarity - Sombra (glamorous and elusive agent), Brigitte (makes clothing/armor for friends!), or D.Va (talented drama queen).
Twilight - Echo (idealistic Mega-Manner), Moira (“For Science!”), or Sigma (“For Science, again!”).
Also, Spike should probably be involved too. Let’s say Genji, Brigitte, or…D.Va? Reinhardt? Also also, 100% open to critique here!
D.Va’s noted to have a Genki Girl personality, which fits perfectly with Pinkie. Soldier: 76 [Spoiler]Jack Morrison[/Spoiler] fits with Dashie in the sense that both characters are still loyal to their friends and their beliefs. Widowmaker!Rarity… Is fitting in an Ironic Sense. Rarity was turned into a Nightmare form by the essence of Nightmare Moon, while Widowmaker was an Overwatch Operative brainwashed by Talon to be a stonecold assassin. Twilight reasons for being Symmetra have already been listed, while AJ as Mcree is rather obvious.
Still, Bastion has a Legit excuse for his other side. He’s got the Robot version of PTSD, which is shown in the Overwatch Trailer, the Last Bastion when he mistakes a Woodpeaker’s pecking for Machinegun fire and responds by activating Turret mode. FlutterBastion would likely have similar issues when she hears gunfire, though she might (Hopefully) be able to tell friend from foe.
Still, I wonder who’s gonna be Reaper? Lightning Dust? Also, I wonder how AJ-Mcree will react to Hanzo’s quote of, “I will Not Be Deterred!”? Probably snicker and say, “Heh, A Turd.”
Makes plenty if you think about it.
They both love nature, and also I enjoy seeing people cry over crossovers not fitting their head canon.

You’re presenting the exact same argument, you just claim that it demands a different result.
it makes sense? that one side the rarity as widowmaker is a comparison of personal characteristicas as beauty or because the character is French and the other compares teleports that is skill, not comparison personal characteristicas how to act by perfectionism or be of a certain country.

You literally just described Twilight Sparkle.
A stereotype is defined as a fixed and oversimplified image of something or someone. You want Fluttershy to be the healer just because she’s always the healer. That is a stereotype. Your entire problem is that the artist isn’t following a stereotype. Besides which, the only stereotyped character here is Applejack as the cowboy character.

all comparisons are stereotyped and mention the despair of this “design” is trying to leverage its analysis foolish, nothing more than that.
please really, fluttershy is a robot because of animals? and applejack is a cowboy, if that does not stereotype I do not know what it is.

I would think so too if it weren’t for the fact they are both equally terrible typists who share the exact same opinion and seem to speak with the same level of venom and spite.
Pretty sure those BP numbers mean those are two separate people.

Why do you post twice on different names? Surely you don’t think you’re fooling anyone into thinking you’re two different people who just happen to both have crappy language skills?
Your entire ‘argument’ is not an argument at all, just your personal preference, and an ignorant one at that. Fluttershy doesn’t represent hope or healing anymore than any of the other characters, and the only reason she represents kindness more is because she had the Element of Kindness, but being kind doesn’t mean you can’t kick some ass. You’re entirely focused on making Fluttershy dependent on others to do her fighting for her, which is just stupid. It’s your opinion and you’re welcome to it of course.
