The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Actually read the original. Surprisingly hard to stop reading.

Anywho, it’s never revealed what would have happened if she finished reading (although Yellow Star keeps saying she would come to life if the book is finished). It’s completely possible the worst that would have happened was simply the obsessive reading and possibly getting others to read the book (which, for the record, can still get pretty bad if left unchecked). However, the fact that a figment of Twilight’s imagination from the book saved her from death does reinforce the possibility of revival.

Spoilers for those who may want to read the original fic.

well the end implied that there WAS an end though, since yellow star didn’t warn twilight about the flames because she thought twilight would read faster than the flames would burn and thus reach the end before the book was consumed. (since yellow star says she messed up in betting on how fast twilight could read)

Considering that the story is based on an HP Lovecraft book, it’s more likely that she simply had an insane urge to finish it that would have stuck with her if she didn’t.

Though I never read the original story, so…eh?

I really don’t understand why she was wanting her to reach the end though; was something bad going to happen if twilight did?
Its just celestia’s journal as far as I can tell.
