I’m liking this idea!
In any case, should the occasion arise, we should let our powers combine and be Juggersky or Zombienaut.
Until then, we wait.
When I’m with people I’m comfortable with, I can be the most chaotic person.
I like it, because I myself am a rather shy person.
Yes and no.
There’s not really much to do, and there’s not many people in my general age group I can interact with and not feel weird about.
On the plus side, despite the heavy religious/blue-collar ethic, it’s pretty progressive in terms of gender, racial, gay, and handicap equality. Not to mention, I don’t feel uncomfortable being open with my atheism.
It’s a good place for settling down and communicating with close friends, but being gregarious and making it actually meaningful is pretty tricky.
@Rat
Oh, OK.
There’s barely any social interaction aside from the mall, a few diners, and churches. Yet, everyone is pretty cheery and pretty approachable.
We also have this “suburban” area that just reeks of snooty and W.A.S.P.ness. Even though we aren’t near a big city. Not really, anyway.
If your community is a “satellite” to a larger urban area, it counts as suburban, even if the immediate surroundings are farmland. If its far from other towns of similar size, I’d call it urban from a relative standpoint..
I figured, just pointing out that it’s odd that most small cities have far better connections than the larger ones that are closer to major cities.
My town has good connection overall.
My “city” has a population of 5,000 but there’s like no public transportation and farmland, farmland everywhere.
Also, a buttload of churches.
