New smartphones often have both a front and rear-facing camera. Without a front camera, sometimes people would use a mirror, probably like Octavia is doing in the image above.
Incidentally, whenever I get a call from a close relation I’m not expecting, I tend to ignore it because sometimes, I’m on route to their location, and all other times, I honestly prefer to be in person for a conversation because I really don’t like hearing the phrase “It’s… For the… Will… And some fries”. And that’s why Mom’s thumbprint left an irreversible mark on my earlobe. XD

I actually refuse to get one for personal reasons. I won’t go into them because it’ll create dramatic tension, but suffice to say I have a moral argument against them.
Ah? No cell phone? Not even a Star Trek flip phone or a brick? Well, anyway, it’s assumed every smart phone today is equipped with two cameras, one in front and one in back, for a user’s face and the landscape respectively. :)
