The Mare Do Well episode was just horribly written, period. Please stop me from getting into how horrible it is.
 
And May The Best Pet Win was a good episode, but didn’t show a single redeeming quality of Dash’s. Aren’t all six of them supposed to be paragons of everything good? Why do they keep portraying her as an obnoxious narcissistic cunt?

In the first episodes i thought dash was an average pony,i saw nothing special on her just like fluttershy  
But i started liking her after she tries to help apple bloom to get her cutie mark,it think it was sweet,and after that episode(despising the applejack/rainbow dash race)dash became my 4th favorite character.  
Does she really gets worse in season 2?Cause i can’t barely stand at fluttershy anymore.

I think rainbow dash needs more character development but then that might change her character entirely. I think her best moments were in hurricane fluttershy, but mare-do-well and find a pet really kicked her down on notch on people liking her

I think it’s because the writers have no idea how to use her. She’s brash and headstrong and arrogant, but she’s the Element of Loyalty and a fierce friend. But all they seem to know how to writer as is an arrogant blowhard and a convenient buttmonkey. It’s ridiculous.

I just hope we see some more of her better qualities in Season 3, rather than just hammering it home that she has an ego the size of the moon at times.
 
Because I really want to see more heroic and awesome Dash.

Well actually, I she was a bit better in Season 2, but still bad.

I hated Rainbow Dash in both seasons, so yeah.

Season 2 ruined Rainbow Dash for everyone. Remember when she was most popular pony for good reason? Damn it. She was wonderful in Hurricane Fluttershy, but by then the damage was already done.
