Well, it was for awhile when the ep’ first aired.
 
SweetieMash used to be kinda popular, but most got burnt out on it. Funny thing is Sweetie’s voice Clair Corlett likes that pairing, and jokingly refered to Button Mash as her “boyfriend” in a Q&A session.

is tenderbloom actually popular? I see very little from it. Same with Spike/Thorax. Ember/Spike is actually very popular. So is Marblemac.

Maybe hetro’ fan-‘ships in general aren’t as popular in this fanbase. (Just look at all the ire the ‘ship teases from the movie got.)  
Which is a bit ironic, seeing as how so many male fans want _____ (fill in the blank) to be their waifu, and such.
 
I can’t really think of many popular ones besides “Big Mac X Fluttershy,” (or Cheerilee) and TenderBloom.
