Description

Of all the characters in all of the mlp fandom Luna is the one with the lowest amount of time in the show vs. highest amount of popularity. From the very beginning the show taught forgiveness and redemption which was a new and different concept to cartoons or television. With all the CSI, Law & Order, and clear good vs clear evil cartoons, movies, and shows in general, forgiveness was a breath of fresh air. We’ve all done something wrong: had arguments that we regret, bridges we’ve clumsily burned. To see forgiveness portrayed as ideal in the show was to see the possibility of forgiveness in ourselves. We empathize with Luna and we like to see her succeed and have budding friendship with her past treated as past. She can move forward so, perhaps, so can we?

And I don’t think that’s a bad thing, I like them both. But seriously, when people mention that, others just say “overrated” and that’s the end of it.
Characters aren’t overrated, it’s only people who think “I don’t like them and others do. This is unfair, so I’ll hate on them”. Stop. It’s stupid.

I don’t agree, the one who had least screentime and most recognition is actually Derpy.
