Oh yes, Twilight lets Celestia off scott free because “She misinterpreted the intended lesson.” Nevermind that, whatever the intended lesson, it could have been done a lot less traumatically, AKA WITHOUT the cutie mark removal and maybe just a magic inhibitor on her horn or something instead of removing it.

Hopefully LUNA doesn’t let her off as easily…
