She was meant to be executed as a menace to society. But the crowds shouted “Reprieve!”, and she was cut down. Fortunately, the guard had been ready for a reprieve [notice the downvote data still exists], just in case…
“Temporarily reverted” - Although the masses crying for Downvote’s reprieve saved her life, there’s hints that it may only be a delay. So go to the forums and let them know Downvote deserves to live, and “she may looks fierce but she’s kind and lovable once you get to know her.”
Downvotes themselves, like Downvote, seem scary and fierce, but I think they’re vital for scoring to mean anything. But that’s just my opinion - just drew this because I got carried away, but really it’s not like we’re killing anypony… Thread on the forums for discussion - just thought it was important to let people know this may only be temporary and a piece of art to pay homage to an important day in Derpibooru history.

Truth be told, I felt really bad drawing this of someone else’s adorable, innocent OC, but I’d heard in a comments section that Arif himself felt like this is what was happening, so… And plus I drew it pretty decent and couldn’t just let it go to waste… Maybe I’ll pull it down if he asks me to.

Both of those are terrible choices, in my opinion.
Starlight is fitting. Or if you want to bring in old drama, it can be Derpy. Or to make it ironic, a black and red OC.

Plus, the other place I post art actually is deviantart. I didn’t upload this there because it’s kind of a meta Derpibooru thing, so doesn’t make sense other places. Perhaps if I replaced Downvote with some other pony it could go on its own elsewhere, though.

Just because someone has a duck doesn’t mean they aren’t right. Just be aware if you get into things with them, you might end up banned along side of them.
I was under the assumption that they’d post it someplace more concrete. Derpibooru is, well, a booru. An image sharing site like Imgur but with ponies. It’s only logical that most would post it someplace they can easily have access to.

Yeah, honestly I don’t care that strongly about downvoting, but I couldn’t pass up the
excuse to make grimdark feels when I’ve always been a “safe” personopportunity to make an emotional piece :pI really love that kind of vulnerable, tender, intimate emotion you can only get when someone’s life is on the line. You can say you like someone, but few things are quite as meaningful as, say, saving their life. We live in a world where you seldom have the opportunity to make such a difference in someone’s life as saving it. Maybe I should’ve gone into medicine or become a paramedic… Nah, reality is never as nice as fantasy. Plus, I got science to do before I die. If I can play a small part in helping the species as a whole, then our survival and growth as a species will ultimately come to save far more lives than any individual ever can as a single doctor or medic, if what I do enables or helps the species reach some amazing technological ascendancy :q
Wait, isn’t qualia an argument FOR the afterlife? In that it necessitates something resembling a soul?
If so, why are you lumping it in with solipsism and P-Zombies?

Just going to point out that Descartes explicitly did not believe that only one’s own existence is certain. He was not a solipsist. His way out of the solipsist trap was his unshakeable faith in the Christian God that allowed him to take creation at face value. “God is not a deceiver” is a foundation of his philosophy.
