You’re definitely not the only one that notice there were more anthropomorphic characters in the series, I wish they could’ve done more like in the first season of DBZ I noticed it more in the first season and from the original DB

DBZ certainly got away from that, however. The last time the show had them in this volume and variety was 30 years ago in the original, and honestly I’m probably one of the only people here old enough to remember that time.

Wow, this is real new to me, never seen a character like this before and this animation is not bad.

Gorgeous animation. If only the dance had more expressed rhythm in it, it would’ve been absolutely amazing.

Optimisation and having low entropy.
 
The fewer colours in the pic, and the larger the areas of solid colour, the less space each frame takes. Anything with shading, or in which many many pixels change exact colour over time, the larger each frame needs to be.
 
Gif also has “difference optimisation”, where if a pixel doesn’t change from one frame to the next, you can have the next frame store no data for that pixel on the next frame. If the pixel changes, even by a single shade, then you can’t do that.
 
Basically, the simpler the pic, and the less change per frame, the smaller the file size can be.

Looks like she stepped out of “Steamboat Itchy.”
