Flash Magnus might have to fight with Soarin until he gets to have the honour of marry Rainbow Dash.

In the episode shadow play part 2, Flash Magnus was very close to Rainbow Dash and I thought he is going to kiss Rainbow but it didn’t happen.

He should have Rainbow Dash for himself.

I don’t think they did, but only because of timing. I’ll definitely buy that they were planning on it in the near future.
 
At the very least, if one of them is thinking it, the other probably is too. Was there any point in the episode where they weren’t on the same page? It’s like they were the exact opposite of Twilight and Star Swirl.

Extramarital relations actually happened a whole lot more in the old days, the idea that you the person you loved should be the person you married has been a fairly recent development (<300 years).
