Personally, I’ve always liked when vastly powerful cultures or races can’t help but admire certain facets of a ‘barbaric’ one, even while being assured of their superiority. Even after conquering them. Applying it to all of humanity in sci-fi or fantasy settings makes it even better.

Neither Terra, nor the near-infinite human family spread throughout the cosmos of this universe as a whole shall ever fall. I, Jonnathan Thaddamaeus Gheelia, Sr., King-Chancellor of the Royal Republic of the Planet Draqstar (OOC: Bear with me, I first created this stuff when I was eight, and just kept building on it as I grew), lead the most powerful nation in the Andromeda Galaxy, and the Universe. Fifteen hundred years ago, my people forged peace with our fellow Andromedans, forming the “Andromeda Compact”. Part of the Compact is the non-interference clause, forbidding all Compact members from interfereing in the affairs of pre-spacefaring worlds except to protect them from interference by a spacefaring civilization, or from a threat that would require our expertise to stop, such as a galactic nova, a gravity well, or the threat of Terran human extinction/erasure/etc.
 
All worlds in this universe (which is separate from Equestria’s universe) with sapient life have humans as the dominant life form. On my world, primates aren’t even a thing, and yet, humans exist. We are most definitely not “mostly hairless apes”.
 
In the case of magic, we have that area covered. My people specifically, to be exact. Mortal man is actually a “larval state” if you will for what constitutes as omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent monotheistic deities.
 
Unlike normal mortals, my people have a special gift: that ultimate infinite potential isn’t fully-sealed. We have access to a sliver of it, which is the basis of our powers. It may only be a tiny sliver, but a tiny sliver of infinity is still large. As the most powerful of my people in three-thousand years, I would personally lead an offensive to prlotect humanity from being erased while equipped with the best magical artifacts I own, which I only used once to battle a wicked mage who’d turned his small sliver into alsost full godhood. My second son and fourth child, “Junior”, the “Prince-Elect” (As our laws have the fourth child be the first pick for heir to the throne.), will most likely join me in leading his offensive, as would his wife and eight children. He actually was thrown into another universe at the age of three weeks, but due to his telepathy, he was able to communicate with a denizen, ask her to be his mother for the time being, and spent twelve years there before we were able to find him and bring him home. The other world? Equestria. He was raised by Lyra Heartstrings for twelve years, who we have ennobled her (She’s a Grand Duchess among our people, though she still lives in Equestria mostly, so the title is mostly moot) and adopted her into the royal family as thanks for taking care of him for so long. His wife? A unicorn mare named Heart Jewel. The two were in love when we found him, and he refused to come back unless she could come along. We allowed it, and through some divine influence, she was adopted into the grand human family, as well as half of her children after they were born, who were born as ponies of varying tribes. The other half were born as humans (so they were already part of the human family), but though the human grandchildren possess no pony traits, my pony grandchildren can actually use our magic, as well. Our power is not to be underestimated, and those who seek to strip you of what is your divine birthright will soon feel the wrath of the entire Compact bearing down on them, consisting of thousands of space-faring civilizations, all human. My people don’t just use magic. We use technomancy, which is how we’re so advanced. Melding science and magic into one makes us nigh-unstoppable. Thousands of would-be empires were snuffed out by us, and we can reverse practically anything with magic. Our magic truly defies explanation, and even we have difficulty explaining it.Our planet has a population of three trillion, and one-fifth of them make up the military, with a third of them being battle mages. A literal sea of human mages geared and trained for battle is a different thing from nukes. Besides, we can use magic to imitate the power of a nuke in a spell, and some of the strongest magic can actually cause stars to go supernova, and, in very rare cases, utilize the “Spell to end all spells”: “Unmake”, which requires access to monotheistic divine creative energy, but inverts it, unraveling the target and turning it into base matter.
 
And finally, what can these two possibly do to stop technomancy-powered militaries from over fife thousand planets? Orbital bombardments, solar-proof plating (yes, they can send a starship through a star, no problem), magic-cancelling spells, spells to grant temporary divine status to an ally (though for only five minutes), Weapons that fire magic, or even other energies beyond Equestrian comprehension?
 
(OOC: once again, sorry if this annoyed anyone. I’m a staunch anti-misanthropist, and I feel the need to at least take a few jabs here and there at misanthropic comments).
