As @Twilights-Secret stated, the pivot point looks wrong. Beyond that, the motion looks good. I wish to add that the set of the shoulders, arms and wings look tensed up. There should be a lot more sag to her body.

You don’t say someone “drowned” unless they died, anyways, you say they “almost drowned”.
 
Meanwhile you can actually be hanged and live, if your neck doesn’t break a certain way and you’re cut down before you die, which takes a few minutes at the very least.
 
We probably have the same fetish even, really. Bondage+asphyxiation - being helpless as you can’t breathe. The only difference is you have to use self control to not breathe water, but you physically can’t make yourself breathe past a noose.
