I call bullshit on his reasoning.
To be honest, I think he just saw the amount of LIKES he got and just decided it could lead to patreon cash.
Why to I think this? It’s simple - he’s posting an what is essentially date rape, he knows this, if he had seen any other drawing of this type - 20-30 dislikes is the most common thing in the world. Like to dislike ratio is not good? Remind me since when do people care? He’s obviously a good artist (artwork quality), the name of the story writer is on the comic cover (the writer is known for this type of work) so people clearly know what this is, not to mention the obvious “you don’t like it - add the tag you don’t like to your filters” rule.
So please, convince me I’m wrong here. I might not be fully right, but I’m definitely on the right track (maybe it’s not just to make more cash…but two things are for sure - it definitely looks like it and the reasoning given is incredibly weak).
 
I read his post and it says this  
I’m not sure if I’ll post the following pages if things continue like this, in that case, it’ll only be available in Patreon.
 
So In other words, if people keep posting shit like this, that is what will make him ultimately decide to make it patreon-only, he has not decided yet.

I have no idea. I reccomend you ask him on Tumblr in hopes that he could explain why it’s as “rediculous” and “bullshit” as he says. maybe if he sees enough people supporting this, he could change his mind.

There’s not going to be another public update to the comic. The artist said on his Tumblr that he didn’t like the like/dislike ratio on this pic on Derpibooru, so he’s going to make the rest of the comic completely Patreon exclusive…
