Cool thing on the mobile version. At first you see the shading as if it werent on a manga. Then you tap it and you can see every detail on the shading.

So Spike is old enough to ask Twilight if he can take Rarity on a date (You need permission for that?) but Rarity still sees him as just a kid? If the date was all set and Rarity simply dumped Spike for Thunderlane’s offer then I think the Raribitch tag would certainly apply, but if Spike is actually still a kid like Rarity is implying what in the Hell is Twilight doing telling him he can go on a date? The continuity is iffy!
