First of all, Ehhh, no. I wasn’t talking about one of my NOTPs, like Fluttercord, nor using it as a reason for Fluttershy’s anger against innocent ponies.

Applejack and Rainbow Dash were honestly pushing her and Pinkie Pie to the point of extreme stress for their own selfish gain. Her anger was understandable there.

Same goes for her treatment towards Zeypher. He was pretty much taking advantage of not only Fluttershy’s kindness but the kindness of their parents and Fluttershy’s friends. He was being lazy and he didn’t respect other’s personal space and belongings (leaving Fluttershy’s house a mess and not cleaning it up himself, lying in Rarity’s bed and presumably reading her diary, putting his stuff all around his parents’ house without their consent, flirting with Rainbow Dash even though she’s not into him and was uncomfortable, etc.).

Also I think people gravitate on the Mane 6’s elements way too much. If they stayed true to their element all of the time, it would kind of make their characters kind of flat. Not to mention straying from their element once in a while makes them feel more real. A person who is loyal isn’t going to be loyal to everyone, a person who is truthful will still lie once in a while and tell little white lies, a person who like to laugh and make people smile isn’t going to be happy all the time, a generous person can not give all the time or else they’ll have nothing or people can easily take advantage of them, and a kind person can still have their breaking points when they’ll get angry and have to put their foot down. Yes, the elements they’re associated with are huge parts of their character, but I don’t mind there being some wiggle room here and there for them to act outside of their element.

And exactly. Fluttershy’s kindness and shyness is still a huge part of her character. She’s just not as cripplingly shy as she used to be and she’s also more assertive.

Second of all, With the stuff that you have said, I stand corrected.

Even though I have yet to see Twilight act outside of her own element, which it’s Magic, Real. Unicorn and/or Alicorn. Magic. (Unless it’s the Magic of Friendship, then yeah it’s another story with that messed up break-up moment in the 2017 film.) Sometimes I don’t want people (not even strangers like Big Macintosh) to be scared of her just because she is angry like Courtney.

And Good to hear that I am allowed to dislike a ship all I want.

Sometimes I think people are “going hard on me” because people always tell me things like “Get over yourself” or “Get it through your head” while disagreeing with me on my statements, such as disliking Cheerimac/Sugarmac because of Fluttershy not treating ponies kindly for a reason (as you stated very well) or not wanting film critics to listen to haters on the internet to give negative reviews to past films from 2017 (which the same sort of happened with MLP: The Movie as it’s not critically acclaimed (or Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes) and thus didn’t save Hasbro from its terrible reputation, which fans didn’t care whether they like it or not).

And for that I feel like I am sorry to everyone, especially Gian Song Yim for an assumption that pissed him off for the sake of wanting Spike to be loved since he is in love with Rarity, but people don’t give a fuck about it due to age and any other stuff. (And, even if I do also ship SpikeBelle, it wouldn’t be the same since Sweetie Belle isn’t voiced by Tabitha St. Germain and for Spike, it would take a pretty long time to consider her as beautiful as her sister lol. Just saying.)

Sorry if I mentioned different shows, I feel like the only one who likes other shows than just MLP or EQG.

Third of all, Sometimes, you need to do some research on the writers of most MLP episodes, any writers. Not just Josh Haber or Mike and Wil Fox.

I’m sorry but I didn’t get any shipping vibes from it at all.

Nah, it’s okay. I dislike the ship anyways as much as I dislike SunsetSparkle and Appledash. The reason why I say that Applejack’s Day Off is Rarijack shipping fuel is that of the plot and the fact that Rarijack shippers would like it because it focuses on Rarity and Applejack at the Spa for the latter to have a day off work (with Twi and Spike doing the job for her as a subplot).

Also, I expect a lot of shipping fuel for Sparity, since in the show and in EG, they didn’t show that much.

Fourth of all, I am glad you knew about the part when I said that MLP ships came long before EQG, and it’s a plus about your response to my statement because you stated very well.

It is assumed that the “fashion shipping” these days is TempestLight (Twilight Sparkle x Tempest Shadow). But in the last few days I’ve seen a remarkable lack of interest in that ship, and that’s partly because there are still people who are clinging to FlashLight and SunsetSparkle

Yeah, I guess the fandom does have its dark spots, but at this rate, I just don’t get how they’d consider themselves queerbaited by a show with so many already established LGBT characters. So Amethyst and Peridot aren’t a couple? Has anyone realized that Connie and Steven also aren’t officially a couple yet? Give it time. This show just loves to play the slow burn card like few I’ve ever seen… (STILL LOOKING AT YOU, THOMAS ASTRUC! ¬¬)

Bottom line is, I still feel the Crewniverse know what they are doing. What the fandom takes out of that, well, that’s a completely different subject.

You say that but you’d be surprised how many Steven Universe fans accused the show of queerbaiting when they didn’t get Peridot/Amethyst and other ships they liked.

Or not. The Steven Universe fandom is rather…infamous so to speak.

You have a very good point there. I’m thinking it could be like a cycle. The ship gets popular in the fandom, the show teases at it a bit, then it gets even more popular.

Sometimes it’s like that, and sometimes the creators just love to freaking torment you (Looking at you, Thomas Astruc ¬¬), or downright queerbait you (Looking with anger at you, Miles and Kerry ¬¬###). Only show where the writing made me think the creators always knew what they wanted to do and are maniging it… relatively proper is the Crewniverse (AKA, Rebecca Sugar & her team).

Otherwise if that is the case, people will hate the shows they liked because a ship isn’t canon and starts breaking and burning their stuff like people did with Bleach, Tokyo Ghoul and Naruto.

Based on what I’ve read on the Legend of Korra staff’s blogs, that’s not the case at all. Some of them liked the idea of Korra hooking up with Asami but they figured that it would never happen given, well, it’s a same sex couple. We didn’t really have too many LGBT characters in western animation then, especially for main characters. They thought that the higher ups would have never let that sort of thing pass.
