Description

It’s an interesting phenomenon when Trixie is not the most egomaniacal person in an episode she features prominently in.

My Little Pony - 1992 Edition

The tragic irony of Wallflower Blush:

  1. Be horribly socially awkward and act weird every time you’re introduced to someone.
  2. Try to fix your faux pas by erasing that person’s memory of your meeting so you can start over fresh.
  3. Still be horribly awkward, screw up you introduction a second time.
  4. Repeat Step 2.
  5. Step 3 happens again.
  6. Repeat Step 2 again.
  7. Nope, still doesn’t work. Keep erasing peoples’ memories of you hoping you get it right.
  8. Eventually erase everyone’s memory of your existence.
  9. Wonder why you’re so lonely.

Wallfower Blush was a self-made villain. She literally created the circumstances that caused her to turn to evil.

Wallflower wiping embarrassing memories certainly could (and likely did) result in others not having any recollection of her in the long run, but it doesn’t explain why people are seemingly unable to remember her just mere moments after speaking with her.

Not exactly true. It wasn’t just the lack of attention that bothered Wallflower; the fact that people can’t seem to even remember her is what ultimately frustrates her. For instance, Trixie manages to forget her name literally minutes after talking to her, and at the beginning of the special, Sunset forgets she even exists shortly after conversing with her.

Sunset Shimmer: What are you talking about, Wallflower?

Wallflower Blush: “She didn’t turn into a monster”…but then she kind of did, didn’t she? DIDN’T SHE?

Sunset Shimmer: what?

Wallflower Blush: I had it good before YOU and YOUR kind came in! I was at the top of the world…JewWario was alive…and then that stupid blue-haired witch came and ruined it all!

Sunset Shimmer: I have no idea what you are talking about?

Wallflower Bush: Of course you donm’t me. No one does. Until a week ago, neither diod I. But then the Stone brought back my memories. I remember it all know. The pain. The slander. You…you don’t even get it, do you?

Sunset Shimmer: Get what?

Wallflower Blush: I’m standing atop the fourth wall. ATOP THE FOURTH WALL.

Sunset Shimmer: Wallflower, I-

Wallflower Blush: Shut up! Jusat like Hepheastus’ Chestplate, the Memory Rock keeps me from forgetting. And you will keep your life, and your friends…but you will forget all aboiut this!

The green hair is a step in the right direction. I have only myself to blame for not having the appropriate anime girl outfit available, but to be fair my having a closet of that would be going too far.
