They’re just being squooshed by the straps. They follow the same rules as goo ponies where their species evolved to “mimic” another species, so they even have the totally redundant body parts a slime wouldn’t even need XD

It’s an all-inclusive school (humans and any monster willing to attend) so the dress code is pretty lax: they basically need to wear as much clothing as a human would wear that their form would allow. Slimes can’t wear pants because they need that puddle for locomotion :D
 
(Mave’s absolutely violating the dress code. She just tends to get away with it because she’s so small and a lot of people don’t notice her :P)

That’s why you choose one with decent foam/padding (or add some yourself, though that’s kinda tough in my experience) mayne! Never had issues with mine, even with like 25 pounds of books, water bottles, and sandbags (even that 3 mile walk to class can be a workout), or god knows how much in camping gear and food
 
My brother’s camera strap, on the other hand, will tear through clothes, flesh and bones like it’s made just for that. The sides have these tiny, very stiff “hairs” running the strap’s length (even though it’s a high quality one), and it sucks to have it on the skin
 
Goo creatures thankfully don’t run into those issues, but they do seemingly have some other problems, heh
 
Wonder how they regulate their humidity content, and what happens when they touch a very cold surface, for example. Would we see something like what Tatzjack had to go through, or would they have some clever mechanism to combat that sort of situations?

hmm… so quiddity, most likely with the intent of luring in potential mates, has gone through the trouble of making sure she has (what appear to be) sizable breasts. Tremble, on the other hand, has no need for such things and so lets her goo settle naturally within her shirt.
 
edit: unless those are her boobs and they’re jsut being squished by the backpack straps…
