To be honest I kind of wish Thorax did have regular eyes like Chrysalis.

Bug eyes or pony eyes, he’s still an adorable love bug.

I agree. The bug eyes fit the Changelings so well and they’re surprisingly rather expressive.

I prefer buggy eyes. If you want to give them irises and pupils, I’d rather them be slitted like Chrysalis’ eyes. He still looks cute but there’s just something rather off about the rounded pupils. I can’t really explain it. (Bug eyes or bust.)

Man, I must have a different brain because I cant see the uncanny valley. When I first saw this pic it looked normal but there was something nagging on the back of my mind about it. Then I finally remembered that they have compound eyes.

Upvote for the cuteness. Downvote for invoking the uncanny valley.

I’ll admit when they’re purely normal it looks odd. I would think the closest it could be without getting creepy is a rounder version of Chrysalis’.
