I honestly wonder if she’s a high-functioning sociopath. It’s subtle but there are points where she seems to be faking emotions for convenience and a few of her comments lead me to suspect that she might be… lacking a bit in the empathy department. Not entirely mind you (She seems to genuinely like the CMCs for instance, but also at certain points in the episode it felt like she was just using them as means to an end).
