OP I feel ya. I was a horse kid way before ever getting into ponies, and whenever a horny character in a picture says “breed me” the association will for me, forever, be something like this:

>study the qualities that I share with my maternal siblings, aunts and uncles, and cousins  
>consider what qualities my father possesses, and has passed on to my paternal siblings

Don’t get me wrong, that can be hot on its own powerplay sort of way. But in a context that’s about characters having sex it sorta… takes you out of the moment.

The worst offense is when breed is used in reference to anal sex.

Breed is legit, but only when it’s specifically regarding breeding.
 
Too many ignorant idiots have taken to using it as a catch all for sex, and it’s just not.

Breed as a verb is perfectly acceptable grammar. As in, “Hurrhurrhurr, I’m gonna breed you unzips dick”. What’s kinda iffy about that is that very often, they’ll say “breed” when what they really mean is “have sex, with an uncertain or even low possibility of conception”. To breed is to specifically produce offspring. If a character moans that they want to “be bred”, that means they obviously have a pregnancy/creampie fetish.
