That’s fair, and I’m not saying that this particular pony and Lightning Dust are related. I’m just entertaining the possibility.
And for the record, I never assumed that Spike and Smolder were related.
Okay, I’ll drop the pretense. Just because two ponies are similarly colored doesn’t mean they’re related; Sky Stinger doesn’t look like much of his family. It’s the same logic as those multiple Equestria Daily posts assuming Spike and Smolder are related because… they’re dragons? It’s kindergarten logic.
