Those were my favorite too but I am happy that Strawberry Shortcake is still even continuing today
this leads to my favorite crappy old cartoon character since I was a child
No need to be ashamed of the new series just because you like the older version more. And personally I think those new designs at least look kinda cute, more cute than the weird 3D designs from 2018 by far. :)

Ha ha that is my reaction when seeing these new characters getting a new reboot
This reboot really isn’t that bad. The episodes are cute, despite being so short. The characters are pretty diverse compared to the whitewashed 2009 one. And I’m so glad they didn’t use those weird 3d 2018 designs.

Lots of other non-Hasbro characters have appeared as cameos in the backgrounds of episodes. As long as it’s not the focus and it’s not super obvious, I think they can get away with it under parody or benign reference.
That might be nice, except that it’s a different company. As far as I recall, Strawberry Shortcake is an American Greetings property, not Hasbro.
(Also, I really wish that whoever is putting out the Strawberry Shortcake DVDs - AG licensed at least 2 different companies to release DVDs, 1 in the USA and 1 in the UK - that they would get around to doing season boxsets rather than individual DVDs with like 2 or 3 eps on each…)
