#22 - My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - OTP

I found out about this ship from @/Lopoddity a few years ago from her fanart of it (shown here  
.) It didn’t stick with me at first, but then I fell super deep into it, and I love it so much. Kooky old sun lady and her stoic bug wife, gahh. It’s caused me to grow fond of similar ships like Lady Palutena and Queen Medusa (whose dynamic I make very similar to Celestia and Chrysalis in Venomverse because in my gay brain they’re The Exact Same)
 
Like a lot of the other characters that I’ve showcased so far in Shiptober, this is my first time drawing Celestia and Chrysalis. I’m still trying to figure out how to draw ponies in a way that looks good to me, but I think I’m getting better? I’ve already seen minor improvements since my Discotemplight entry back on Day 6, so I’m hoping with more practice and forcing my brain to not think of them like the feline/canines I’ve been drawing for years I’ll get there!
 
I’ve seen other people draw Twilight with beard-like scruff on her chin and since I liked it a lot I wanted to include it in my personal designs for the Alicorns!  
Also, my Celestia design is based off of Lop’s Luna design  
(Lop’s stuff really inspires me if you can’t already tell). My Luna design will have the darker blue eye markings shown in Lop’s design while my Celestia will have the same thing, just gold instead (shown in this entry). Also, like Luna, Celestia will have a splotchy patch of markings on her rear in the same golden color! I’ll have to see how it looks when I actually draw it to see if I’ll actually keep it, though, in case it blends in with her cutiemark too much.
 
In MLP Venomverse these 2 are married and they have 2 kids! I think I’ll stick to 2 for them rn but y’all know me, I love adding more kids to families so we’ll have to see what happens
