The flashback showed that Wallflower stumbled onto the stone after Friendship Games, when the whole school knows Sunset is actually a magical pony and magical artifacts do exist. It’s not really that hard to put two and two together, and she probably triggered it by accident like Juniper. By the time of the special, Wallflower says she’s been using it regularly to avoid embarrassment, which I guess has the side-effect of making everyone forget about her.

Wait, I didn’t think about this before, but did she read Equestrian? Do these parallel worlds use the same written language? Did she just guess based on the pictures? Was/Is she curious about all the horses on there?

Well the stone story stated that there was a pursuit between Clover and the wizard among many worlds, what if that evil wizard stole that stone from the Sheikah….
