And although I still believe that Lyra-bon is not cannon and all of those almost lesbic moments in which we’ve seen them so far are some kind of easter eggs made just to please us (or try to), I have to say I actually agree with you. If in the future the crew makes them cannon I think I can accept it but just because lyra-bon’s pretty much iconic both to the show and the bronies and it would be a very interesting thing to see. But I’d totally hate if they make another couple loke that, in that case the fandom would become unbeareable at least to me.

That’s completly normal my friend, we’re men, we tend to like lesbian porn; and as far as I know women enjoy gay men porn (yuri and yaoi respectively in the case of anime), everything out of curiosity and sexual excitement.

Okay the it’s canon stuff I can understand not liking that stuff gets irritating nothing wrong with shipping but don’t claim it’s canon and annoy everybody about it.
 
Though I do have to say it’s gotten pretty hard to see lyrabon as not canon so I’ll let that one slide and it would be nice to have at least ONE gay couple on the show.

I understand the lack of straight art because the show has much more female characters than males (although the number of males has grown considerably in recent seasons), I’ve grown to like maaaaaaany of that art, even some futanari that disgust me so much and even love the fan-cannon personalities of certain characters. But I don’t like when the fans wants all of us to accept those fan-cannon characteristics as the cannon ones.

In that case just let me think what I want to think, I’m not hurting anybody either. Don’t get me wrong holmes, I ain’t anti-gay or something like that, as I’ve stated before on other post, sexuality is a really trivial thing that nobody should pay much attention to. But in this case, damn it feels like they’re hammering it (gay stuff) over and over and over again, I’m just tired of it.

I am very accepting, but sometimes I feel that I cant have an opinion for fear of backlash. :( Personally, its okay to have a gay couple, but when it comes to something like a show, that gay couple is noticeable and special because it IS THE ONLY ONE. There is a character type in every type of media.
