Trixie Lulamoon, who would also play Roger DeBris.
In the musical, Roger takes on the role of Hitler after Franz, who was originally tapped to play the part, broke his leg while making his way backstage, and his outrageously camp performance makes “Springtime” into a smash hit.
Trixie’s known for being a bit of a ham, and the musical’s version of Roger is also quite hammy, so she would definitely play Roger’s role.
The original movie was set in 1967. The musical and its movie adaptation, on the other hand, were set eleven years earlier, in 1958.
This artwork is clearly based on the cover art for the 2005 movie musical.
