Except Littlepip gets out of the SPP capsule in the Epilogue, so 10 might be debatable. Steel Hooves’ known life might be a better representation.

You are forgetting that overall, a bullet transfers much more energy into the body than a knife. It essentially sends a compression shock wave through your body that may rupture blood vessels far from the actual impact, can and will shatter bones it encounters, displaces and bruises the internal organs by the kinetic force of impact if it is in the stomach or torso. Even a bullet impact that doesn’t penetrate the body armor can cause bruising over a significant area.

Why isn’t getting stabbed on this list, I’d think melee weapons would hurt far more than getting shot, mostly because a slash would cause pain over a larger area… Then again bullets are still hot when they enter you, so the burning caused by bullets could add to the pain (speaking of which, fire needs to be on the higher end of this list), I’ve only ever been cut a few times (mostly by not handling a knife properly)

I’m pretty sure the SPP didn’t turn littlepip into an eternal space computer god. she has the power to keep the weather under control, which is why they called it the single-pegasus-project, and that’s about it. I certainly wouldn’t rate it 10 on the pain scale, unless you’re counting the royal pain of getting stuck in the machine just to make it work right. if I had to pick out a pony who suffered worse than blackjack, I’d probably consider princess luna, who had to keep the shield up, trapping herself in with the pink cloud as it melted her flesh, to buy time for the evacuation down the hill. legends say she lasted quite a while.
 
but eh I dunno. more pain != better story.

Personally, I’d put Blackjack at 10 and Pip and 9, mainly because Pip can leave, but she’s physically very frail, and feels obligated to keep Celestia company, as well as the SPP needing to be micromanaged (or something like that), but she still gets to see her friends and the person she loves a few times a year, which sucks, but at the same time that’s about as often as you might see family that’s fairly far (i.e. several states) away today.
 
Blackjack, on the other hand, [spoiler]even if you don’t count the lives-for-200-more-years part of the epilogue, still has the people she loves die, almost all of her close friends die (or be stuck on the moon), and countless friends/acquaintances die by the end. And that’s not even getting into the physical/mental stuff she went though.
 
But even though this might’ve come off as negative and dismissive, still, good work, and that’s just my opinion, and it’s not on I’d put a whole lot of merit into

You cannot really compare a fanfic written by one person in their spare time to a game that was made by some of the most legendary game developers to ever have the luck to meet in one company ever.

Littlepip, in the end, creates a new world with an AI. She has effectively become God. And yet because of this, she is condemned to be trapped forever. Truly alone. Truly beyond reproach. Her power is that to begin and end civilization, and maybe even life itself, just by thinking about it.
 
You think her frail? Weak? Maybe physically. But physical existence means nothing when you don’t have to worry about life or death.
 
There is nothing in existence, inside of this little tiny bubble, except her, and an AI that cannot truly disobey her.
 
For eternity.
 
All existence for her is the time it takes to close your eyes and count to one.
 
 
The life of everything is meaningless. The death of everything is meaningless.
 
The world could be perfect or imperfect and it wouldn’t change a damn thing.
 
 
She’s trapped forever with the power of her own universe in the bubble with an unsolvable problem.
 
And in that moment, in that tiny little moment of now, that time it takes to go from 1 to 0, o to 1,
 
She will truly be alone. And conscious of it. In her own universe, omnipotent and omnipresent. The existence of all things that can exist, and alone with everything that does not yet exist.
 
And thus is her sacifice so that others might have life.
 
 
It is the greatest pain the universe can have exist, and at the same time, it is nonexistence.
