In a strange way, we actually do see a young changeling. In Slice of Life, the changeling that attends the wedding is foal sized. When you compare the changeling’s height to the back of the chair he is sitting in against the adult ponies in the room, he is noticeably shorter. It would also fit that he is a young changeling since he is in the foal’s section of the guest seating. What a young changeling is doing at Cranky’s and Matilda’s wedding is an open question, but that is a topic for another day.
