I suspect he’s just managed to steal a cookie, as opposed to asking nicely for one like Flurry is doing. He’s been mentioned to being a pure fruit bat, not carnivorous. The feather is probably one of Twilight’s, only shadowed so the colour looks a bit off!

I take it Pterus has eaten a bird? That feather on the floor doesn’t match any of the mares present, and he is getting the sink-eye from Twilight something fierce.
