I’m not sure if there is any order to read them in, but I posted them in the order that is most important to Delta’s backstory. They all are pretty short and worth a read tough ^^

He does really regret that. In multiple fics he tried to recive forgivness from Delta. He never succeded tough. I think he just wanted to save his relationship. What he did was wrong, but it’s a bit more understandable. They really were two love birds ^^

Mmmm~ Fair. The latter comic kinda still leads me to believe he just made a mistake, one that was hastily made and made under the duress of losing the one he loved, which given his behavior it was hardly calculated… at least the way I see it from the comic. Still… makes me wish he had thought this out a bit more and had been more patient. Who knows? It seems like they really loved each other. She may have come back after working for a while. shrug
The memory does seem to have at least some fondness for her, since it appeared to be a dream and not a nightmare.
It would be nice to see some more of Jet’s side, so we could find out if he regrets his decision (which I think he does) or not. It would add more to his character, IMO

The more you think about it, it looks like Jet purpousfully got Delta drunk and get her pregnant to stay with him. Tough it seems like he geniuenly did it out of love and wanting to be with her.
Sadly, as it often goes, he did not think about what she wanted in that moment.

If I remember correctly, they were drunk. I’d have to read all cannon fics again, but it’s possible that when Delta agreed to it, she was “more drunk” than Jet. It seems that this comic confirms that Delta was drunk when Jet was more sober.
Also, I don’t think that Delta would be the one to get rid of Apogee. She seemed to be in a happy relationship, even during pregnancy. She seemed to be a happy pony before she learned about how much Jet has profited on thier relationship.
There is also this comic, which depending on your own interpretation, can paint Jet in even more negative light. It could as well have been that he got Delta drunk and had sex with her to prevent her from leaving. It certainly seems like the tought has crossed his mind.
I feel for Delta, I do. Jet did her dirty and that’s not right. I wouldn’t say he’s “evil” or the “bad pony”, per se. He made mistakes in trying to get what he wanted out of life, a family, and unfortunately for all parties involved, he went about it the wrong way. I do believe Armageddonus though, perhaps Jet is trying to change. I mean, for one, if what people are saying is true, then he could just keep Apogee for himself and not have anything else to do with her if she can’t hold up in a court battle because of lawyers and money. In a way I feel bad for all of them.
Delta: She was done wrong in her life because of what Jet wanted. Though it’s not right that she’s so cross with Apogee. Even if her daughter is a “symbol” of what Jet did and how it screwed up her life, taking any amount of it out on her – whether it’s a thoughtless joke or screaming at her – is wrong. Plus I find it hard to believe that she was so forced into having a kid she didn’t want. I imagine in this AU that birth control measures exist, and there is no scenario where Delta is naive enough to think that having sex wouldn’t result in pregnancy. Whether it be a birth control pill, morning after pill, simple surgical procedures like getting one’s tubes tied, or even just using condoms (male or female ones), etc, to prevent pregnancy. Unless Jet raped her in her sleep, she had options to prevent an unwanted birth.
Jet: He is the one at the most fault here, but I don’t believe his intentions were originally malicious. He wanted to start a family with her, albeit one of tradition where she would play housemare. It was a little arrogant and pigheaded of him to “decide” that would be her role, but again I don’t think it came from a position of evil or malice. I think that Jet bringing Apogee to Delta is his way of trying to, not atone, but not make another mistake – depriving Apogee of her mother and Delta of her daughter. Of course it would have been better if he had respected Delta’s wishes first and foremost – that is what a good coltfriend/husband should do with their partner. Still, I think on some level he’s trying to make things as right as possible.
Apogee: The most innocent of the three, the way I see it. She loves both her parents and would likely love to see nothing more than them to get back together, even if it won’t/shouldn’t happen. After all, she didn’t ask to be born.
Just my two-cents on each character. Disclaimer though, I only recently found and read some of the comic and heard some of the stuff surrounding this particular trio, so the above is subject to fault and flaw.

Me too. She is probably one of the most tragic characters in the fandom (not counting FoE, since that’s a comical level of trying to make a character tragic).
I’ve made a new drinking game, for every page of the comments take a shot. Do that for every page of this comic. Then when you’re done try to give a fuck what either side is arguing about when it comes to the personal lives of fictional cartoon ponyos.

I understand people not likeing Delta for her behaviour, but most of them seem to not care about what she’s went through. They also seem to not see how much she actualy cares about her daughter. It’s kinda like you would said that someone showing signs of being a Tsundere is just an asshole, dissregarding the “diffrent levels” of thier personality. Delta is a loving, but troubled mother.

This discussion is rather pointless. Nobody calls Jet the “evil pony”, because nobody belives that his intentions were geniuenly evil. That doesn’t change the fact that he is the “bad guy” in the story, because he tried to force his way of life on young, naive Delta. He seems to haven’t change even a bit, since right now he does that as well. This time, Delta wont let him “help”, because she knows what missery did the “last time” brought.

She isn’t really “intentionaly” angry at Apogee. Who is she always getting mad at is Jet. When she realizes that she is not talking shit to him, but to her daugther tough, she always ethier stops or says sorry.
