Are we not all mental to some degree? How is she going to learn anything if she is perfect? Plus I think psychology is kind of a bust. Any healthy person can work through their problems with a good psychologist in 2 weeks - 2 months. Most of what people have wrong with them is self indulgence and an inflated ego. psychologist always want to treat human behavior like mental disability. I think psychology can be really helpful for the people that actually have real mental disability; But the labeling it leads to can be toxic. No one can really understand someones true motives.

I think what you are trying to describe is that Starlight doesn't always think things through, she needs to have a better plan. If we are talking psychology, what your describing to me sounds more like PTSD. That is just IMO I am no expert. BPD doesn't sound like what Starlight's "damage" is. I mean by the end Starlight got over it, she felt remorse. Plus she made friends with Sunburst again. Starlight being a counselor was sort of her talking through her trauma.
