No what i am saying is lets not play doctor here. I didn't even read your most recent post.

I was saying most healthy people can cure minor mental illnesses that arise through basic lifestyle changes and communication.

I just cant stand fighting this argument anymore, and you took several days to reply.

Starlight thought her village was a sanctuary. Its classic hold onto an illusion because of traumatic experience.

Starlight was tramatized when her friend abandon her when Sunburst got his cutie mark and discovered what made him special.

The object of Starlight's obsession was cutie marks because she thought ponies differences would tear them apart.

Twilight is her guide to the right path, showing her as living proof that ponies can be happy when they put aside their differences.

Other characters just like Starlight are, Zuko from Avatar the last Airbender, Uncle Ruckus from Boondocks and so on.

trauma triggers them to believe in a lie that from an outside perspective is obviously fake. But you cant just tell them that, they need to see it themselves. Then they feel guilt and get over it by forming meaningful relationships(friendships)

These characters are very emotionally driven.

She is chaotic good, and her element is fire.

If you honestly think this is a mental case then i disagree, it's that simple.
