Well, without google’s apps perhaps only the Chinese market is left to this company.
And personally I think it will take a long time for Huawei to develop a vivid apps market like google play if possible.
@Marv West
Huawei has been caught conducting questionable business practices in the past, and I’m not talking about the yet unproven spy allegations either.
But yeah, I have to agree with you from a consumer’s perspective that there needs to be more smartphone choices on the market. It’s quite a shame Huawei isn’t able to sport Google apps on their fine devices. They know their audiences well and are quite responsive too, unlike Samsung. I was even considering one of their phones at one point before this whole shenanigan occurred to replace my ZTE phone (another Chinese brand).
@Selaphiel
What has that to do with politics? I’ve used some Huawei’s devices and I just think it performed pretty well compared to many other android phones.
Plus, huawei is a private-owned company, it has nothing to do with the government.
And I think if there are more companies like huawei then the competitions between those companies will make their work better, and we will have more choices.

Spying and illegal Chinese malware used to datamine information from all users. Banned due to security threats to the United States. Chinese drone company DJI was found to be guilty of the same thing by the United States Department of Homeland Security.

Trump forced them to under spying allegations.
It’s sad how Americans are being forced to not trust China and its people. Yet Huawei has been killing it - people love their phones.

I haven’t had a chance to read into it myself, but typically when I get a new phone, I wipe the system and load Cyanogenmod/Lineageos on it anyways.
Sales person “Okay. It’s five hundred dollar, you have no choice of carrier, the battery can’t hold a charge and it runs an obscure OS named KirinOS and….”
Agreed.
Samsung is really abusing its position on the market. And Huawei appears to be the only viable challenger on the Android field.

OK CCP Influencer!
I hope one day Huawei will take the place of the companies like SONY and Samsung.
I bet someone at Huawei watches MLP FiM

Makes me want to use a Kirin based phone…
Someone made a custom booting animation based on this

Snowden has shown a littlebit of how America and other western countries are spying on their own population.
Just yell terrorism and child pornography and no-one will protest against governmental back-doors, hacking and Zero-day-exploits.
P.S. Sorry if this is too off-topic.

This probably has something with spying users.

Autumn Blaze: “Words words words words words words words words words words words words words words words”
“No, but it does come with Autumn Blaze.”
“Alright, here’s my money.”
As far as I can see it is real, Huawei developed an OS named Kirin OS for their phones.
Fry, “Shut up and take my money!”
